Right in time for Valentine’s Day, The Chicago Lighthouse is hosting its 7th annual Sweets for Sight event on Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Redhead Piano Bar, 16 W. Ontario, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Organized by the Young Philanthropists Board, the event will feature live piano karaoke, chocolate from Cupid Candies, sparkling wines, and hors d’oeuvres from Quartino Ristorante and Wine Bar.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Lighthouse’s 28 programs, which provide the highest quality educational, vocational, rehabilitation and clinical services to people of all ages who are blind, visually impaired or multi-disabled.

Ticket donations may be purchased in advance for $45 each or 10 for $350 by CLICKING HERE, or by calling Special Events at 312-997-3679.  Tickets will also be sold at the door for $55.  Guests must be 21 years of age to be admitted and wearing business casual attire.

The Chicago Lighthouse Young Philanthropists Board (YPB) is a diverse group of young professionals who share a passion for helping people who are blind or visually impaired.  Through fundraising events, volunteer service, advocacy, community outreach and education, the YPB impacts the lives of both those with and without visual disabilities.
